How is the subsidy calculated?
For eligible residential systems, ₹30,000 per kW applies to the first 2 kW and ₹18,000 to the next 1 kW. The maximum central subsidy is ₹78,000 for systems above 3 kW. Eligibility still depends on the PM Surya Ghar process and compliant DCR modules.
Does BHIMASEN install the system?
Not initially. A registered installation partner surveys, quotes, contracts, installs and provides warranties. BHIMASEN handles education, comparison, qualification and project coordination.
Will solar make my electricity bill zero?
Not reliably. Fixed charges, consumption timing, seasonal generation, shade, outages and net-metering treatment matter. We estimate savings conservatively and do not advertise a guaranteed zero bill.
Is the calculator price a quote?
No. It is a pre-survey planning range. The final price must name the modules, inverter, structure, safety equipment, approvals, cable lengths, taxes, exclusions and service scope.
How does BHIMASEN get paid?
We expect to earn a disclosed referral or success fee from the installation partner when a project completes. The homeowner should not assume this makes every partner quote the best one; that is why the scope and price remain visible for comparison.
